The following is a list with brief description of MDL tools from :
TSSASTOF.MATSS Automatic STation and Offset annotation
An application designed to calculate the Station and Offset of any valid DGN file element relative
to a user selectable and defined baseline element. User has the option to identify which element
type to annotate with Station and Offset text.
TSSCLCAL.MATSS CelL CAlL utility
An application designed to place text string calls for any cells contained within a fence (active or
reference file) at the current cell origin based on an ASCII file parameter table. Alternately,
operator has the option to place cells containing any valid MS elements. A typical application of
the later is placement of cell with Manhole Rim, Invert elevation edit fields to be filled by
TSSGRADE.MATSS GRADE call
An application designed to facilitate annotation of grade of any element in profile (paving job, for
example). User may optionally place text (with a prefix and leader) for a typical paving project
TSSMAREA.MATSS Measure AREA
An application designed to calculate the area, perimeter and centroid of closed line-string or shape
elements with an option to place measured parameter in the active file (with or without leader).
The user can modify the area's units of measure (Acres, Square Yards, Square Feet, or
User-defined factor and suffix, etc.).
TSSMGRDE.MATSS Multi-GRaDE call
An application designed to facilitate annotation of grade or slope of selected linear elements in
profile (paving job, for example). Grade/Slope text with any user defined Prefix will be placed at
the mid-point of and parallel to component linear segment.
TSSMRKPI.MATSS line-string MaRK PI
A utility designed to highlight linear elements' vertices by placing active point element,
user-defined text, cell, or coordinates at vertices of the selected line-string.
TSSPROEL.MATSS PROfile ELevation annotation
An application designed to facilitate Elevation annotations in a Profile type DGN file by taking
into account profile exaggeration and/or user defined Auxiliary Coordinate System (ASC).
TSSPSTEL.MATSS Profile STation ELevation
A utility program designed to generate elevations at user defined stations or at a constant
increment with the capability of placing station/elevation text in the active file or saving it to an
ASCII file for use in other programs. A typical application would be to generate elevations at
given roadway stations from a representation of a floodplain.
TSSRCLCL.MATSS Radial CelL CalL
An extension of TSSCLCAL application which is designed to place text-string calls for any cell
contained within a fence (in the active or reference file) at the current cell origin or radial to a
selected alignment element based on an ASCII file parameter table. In lieu of text-string, the
operator has the option to place cells containing any valid MS elements.
TSSSTAEQ.MATSS STAtion EQuation
An application to establish Station Equation between two alignment (baseline) elements with the
option of placing results in active file or save to an ASCII file for further processing.
TSSSTALN.MATSS STation ALigNment
An application designed to automate placement of stationing tickmarks and text along baseline
alignment element. User can select from three pre-defined stationing text formats and two pre-defined text orientations (tangent and perpendicular). Stationing interval is user defined in
addition to text and tickmark symbology and settings.
TSSSTOF.MATSS STation and OFfset
An application designed to calculate the Station and Offset of any point in the design file relative
to a user selectable baseline element. User has the option of placing leadered or non-leadered
Sta., Offset text in the active file.
TSSXYZ.MATSS XYZ coordinates
A utility program designed to place leadered coordinates text for any point in the active design
file. The operator has the option to place X&Y, XY&Z, Northing/Easting,
Northing/Easting&Elevation, or Elevation only.
